As I said above, you pretty much know what the outcome is going to be when it comes to soap operas right?
You could go six months without watching and turn it on six months later only to pick up where you left off.
So if it’s so predictable, why do so many people keep watching it without changing the channel?
As a matter of fact, if you were in the house with my 80 year old aunt and walked in front of the tv during ‘her soaps’ you might find yourself hit in the head with a shoe that she flung like Bruce Lee flinging a ninja star!
Well my friend, there is one reason why people continue to watch. And if you can master this one thing that the ‘soaps’ do and a ton of other tv shows then you’re on your way to creating awesome novels in no time.
What is that one thing?
